anonyma.chat / CLI

Anonyma CLI.
One folder, one command.

For people preparing many documents who need a repeatable workflow. CLI means command-line interface: you start it by entering an instruction in your computer’s terminal.

When to use it

Repeated document tasks

Process a file or folder without restarting the workflow for each document. Use the app when you need to visually select and adjust individual areas.

Separate output

The simple command keeps originals and writes copies to Documents/Anonyma in your home folder. It adds a number when an output name already exists. Keys and reports are kept in the Chiavi subfolder.

Review the result

Native PDFs, scans, images, DOCX and text use the local engine’s checks. Open the copies, inspect residual data and review file names too: the simple command does not anonymise them.

In interactive use, the command offers profile and colour choices. The default is the AI profile with black redactions. Complete mode can also use OpenAI Privacy Filter when its model is installed.

Installation and restoration

The current distribution requires Node.js 20 or later and the components specified in its manual. The documented installer uses Bash. Windows installation has not yet been validated. The package and instructions are supplied through the applicable access route; this page does not advertise a standalone public download.

The simple command does not restore documents. Restoration and advanced options use anonyma-avanzato through a separate procedure. A key may contain plaintext original values: store it separately from copies you share.
