An open-weight model for identifying personal data in text, distributed by OpenAI under Apache 2.0. Anonyma can use it in documented local workflows.
What the model does
It detects categories such as people, addresses, emails, phone numbers and identifiers. It indicates text spans to inspect. OCR, redaction choices and PDF rebuilding belong to the Anonyma workflow.
Where it is used
The local distribution includes an integration of the model. CLI complete mode can use it when the components are installed. The published web app uses Rizzo-PII: this page does not advertise Privacy Filter as a web app feature.
Local model execution does not require sending the document to ChatGPT. Downloading weights and preparing components are separate from processing. Availability and requirements depend on your distribution.
Detection needs review and does not certify anonymisation. OpenAI authors the model and does not provide the Anonyma service; no partnership or endorsement is claimed.
