anonyma.chat / Local processing

Where data goes.
Where it stays.

Document processing on your device is separate from website browsing, accounts and use of an external chat.

On your device

Documents, detection, review and mappings.

From the website

Interface and model downloads. Technical connection data.

To the external chat

Whatever you choose to send. Review the context too.

Green arrows show what the site delivers to the browser: the app and its components. Documents and maps processed on your device are not uploaded to Anonyma servers. Accounts, contact details and technical connection data are handled separately.

Each data flow explained.

DataHandling
Documents and textProcessed on your device in the described versions. Loading a document into the app does not upload it to Anonyma servers.
Detection modelDownloaded on first use. Download requests expose normal connection data to the provider.
Code mappingContains original values. It may be stored locally or exported. The app can encrypt mapping exports with a password; not every workflow stores an encrypted mapping.
Accounts and contactThese relate to your website account and purchased programme. They require privacy information distinct from local processing.
Text sent to AIReceived by the provider you choose. Review the final text and the external service’s terms.

Treat mappings with the same care as originals.

Keep the mapping outside the folder you plan to share. If you encrypt it, retain the password: losing it may prevent recovery. Export what you need before clearing browser data.

Before AI,
